Visit to Fort Leonard Wood November, 2004 A large group from our troop visited Fort Leonard Wood in south-central Missouri. We stayed in the National Guard barracks, ran some of the confidence course, observed the physical endurance course, visited the PX and the base museum, and went bowling at the base bowling alley. (Gee, Mom, the army sure is fun!) The U.S. Army was a great host, especially the sergeant who was our escort for the weekend.
