Klondike Derby January, 2005 First off, I'd like to thank Mrs. S. for attending or else we couldn't have gone. Well, this was my first Klondike, and I have to say it was a great experience. During the night we got there, it started to rain, then sleet, and then snow. Things couldn't have got any better until we woke up Saturday morning to find out our fly collapsed! Other than that we had a great time with the games. We shot slingshots, had a first aid carry race, and built a fire – or tried to. We had the minimum number of people, which was very cool because no one was excluded. For dinner we had Mr. H's trashcan turkey, which was outta this world. I, for one, had a great time. — Pat O.
