Shiloh Battlefield Trek February, 2006 Each February we take a trip to the Civil War battlefield at Shiloh, Tennessee. Troop old-timers recall years when it was sunny and warm in the mid-South for us. Lately it hasn't been – this year it iced and sleeted. But the bus driver had no problems, sleet doesn't make you wet, and hiking keeps you warm. It was a good trip.
