Scout Sunday January, 2006 Several Scouts from St. Joseph Parish, not just from our troop, worked hard over several months to earn the Ad Altare Dei religious emblem for Catholic Scouts. There are actually two Scout Sundays. The Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts who earn religious awards are first recognized after a Scout mass at our parish. The following week a bishop presents the Boy Scouts with their medals at a service in the Cathedral Basilca of Saint Louis.
